At school there are these things on top of our chair mounts, which are like hollow metal pipes They apparently cheaped out significantly on these, as not only they were made of 3d printed plastic but also they weren't glued down Too bad the bottom of our desks has some kind of thin metal part, not sharp at all but thin enough to cut plastic if you do it fast enough
